The #Truth about Cotton Waste

Most people only think of the fibre when they think of cotton, but 100% of the cotton plant has practical uses that improve our lives and generate additional revenue for growers. The entire Cotton plant can be processed for a wide variety of products.

Currently approximately 46% of the plant is seed meal which is used as fertilizer and animal feed. Scientist are working to make the seed fit for human consumption. This would create 10.800.000.000.000.000.000 Gms protein to the world food supply. That’s enough to meet the basic protein needs of 500 million people a year.
