DNFI at International Cotton Conference Bremen 2026The Discover Natural Fibres Initiative will hold its second meeting during the International Cotton Conference Bremen 2026. The DNFI meeting will take place in hybrid form at the premises of the Bremen Cotton Exchange and virtually on Thursday, 26 March 2026, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Central European Time).

The meeting will focus on current regulatory challenges that could significantly shape the future of natural fibres worldwide. A highlight of the programme will be a keynote contribution by Dalena White, Co-Spokesperson of the Make the Label Count (MTLC) campaign, who will share key insights into the European Union's rapidly evolving Green Economy agenda. Further international experts are being invited to provide updates on developments from around the globe.

The meeting will conclude with an open discussion on how supporters of natural fibres can join forces to secure positive regulatory outcomes for the 40 million households whose livelihoods depend on natural fibre production.

    In addition, there will be a presentation on the preparations for the DNFI stand at Techtextil from 21 to 24 April 2026 in Frankfurt. The DNFI stand is located in Hall 9.1, Stand B43C and is part of the 'Nature Performance Area'. DNFI member will showcase the natural fibre industries, innovative products and solutions for future materials.

    All DNFI members will receive free tickets for the Techtextil trade fair from 23 to 26 April 2026 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Information on how to obtain tickets will be announced during the Bremen meeting.
