The International Wool Textile Organisation invites you to Nuremberg, Germany for the Wool Round Table. The Congress will be held in-person with live-streaming sessions via Webex.
Germany is the largest market in the European Union, with a population of almost 84 million. Germany is also Europe’s top performer in terms of gross domestic product, which means that the population as a whole has a high income level and thus high purchasing power. Before the pandemic, people in Germany spent €76 billion on clothes and shoes in 2019 alone.
In a European comparison of the 175 largest fashion brand suppliers in terms of number of companies and sales volume, Germany takes second place in each case. In an international comparison, Germany is one of the most important markets and one of the most important distribution channels for international brands.
All in all, an important market for Wool garments as well as interior textiles.
